Getting Cricky Simply Sunday Challenge

Hi Everyone!!! Today is the Simply Sunday Challenge over at Getting Cricky. This is my first post as a Jr. Design Team Member and I'm so excited!! Kristal is wonderful and so caring and her stamps are marvelous! The theme for this weeks challenge was to create a holiday decoration. Well, I don't celebrate holidays. Religous reasons. :) But, I didn't want to let my team down, so I did create some party favors for a baby shower.

The baggies are from Wilton.
Kraft Paper is from Recollections
The scallop is cut from the Theresa Collins Baby Boutique Imagine Cart
LOVE IT!!!
I also used the snowflake Cuttlebug folder for the embossing. I also
inked around the scallop for dimension.

The sentiment "soo...YUM" was used from the Coffee & Tea Treats stamp set by K. Andrew. To order this set and to check out all of her other great stamps, click here!

Thanks for stopping by and taking a gander. (LOL Love that word.).
Don't forget to visit the rest of the Design Team to see what wonderful
 creations they have created.

Scalley Wag!

Ok, who knew scalley wag was a pirate term?! Not me! But I love it! I know I've called some people that name in my day. LOL I just got the Bucaneer Imagine Cart tonight. I knew I wanted to do something with it, but didn't know what. I just threw this together real quick and I guess it's ok. My hubby likes it. :)

He's a mean fishy, scally wag!

He's so mad!!! LOL

I popped up the layers that were available for the fish.
It gives the fish some dimension.

I also inked all of the edges of the fish layers in black.
I printed 2 squares in 2 different patterns that are on the cart. The card
base is craft paper and inked with Chocolate Studio G ink.

Hope you enjoyed!!!  Don't forget to comment and become a follower. I will return the favor.

Rosette Topper

Hello everyone! I was blog surfing last night and came across a post on My Creative Time . Emma made some rosette toppers for her pencils from the Art Philosphy cartridge. I, however, do not own that cart, but I did design the same cut on my Gypsy using George & Basic Shapes. I cut the scallop from Cindy Loo. I then applied a button on the top scallop and used Honeydew baker's twine from The Twinery for the bow.

*If anyone is interested in the gypsy cut file, please leave a message on this blog w/ your email address and I'll be happy to send it out. Follower's welcome as well. :)

CRICUT 360º - Challenge # 13 - Welcome Baby

This is the first challenge I have entered. I made this card about a month ago for a co-worker that is having a baby boy. I used the Create a Critter and Sugar & Spice Lite cartridges and the Safari stack from DCWV. Enjoy.

My FIRST Blog Award!!!

While going through a comment on a previous post, I came across a message stating that I recieved a Blog Award. I received this award from Linda @ LadyBug Lair in JULY! Yes, I'm 3 months late. But I'm so very grateful. Thank you soooo much Linda.

Hello Friend

Wow, it's been a while since my last post. I've not really crafted that much lately and tonight for some reason, I had a big urge to make a card. I got out my Gypsy (love her) and went to work. I love the color pink, so I made that a theme for this card. Hope you enjoy and I hope to keep this craft bug I've just caught. :)

Recipe : Pink Cardstock from Recollections
Paper Studio Paper Pack (can't remember name..sorry)
Cricut Carts : Elegant Edges and George & Basic Shapes
Pink Ribbon
Sentiment from Studio G Stamps

Apple Card - Hello

This card was made with the help of my hubby. I cut the apple from the Serenade cartridge, the circle from George and other Shapes, and the tag from Home Accents. The pattern paper is from DCWV Bella Cafe paperstack. I like how everything turned out, EXCEPT, I think I probably need a new glue pad. My stamp isn't quite right. But you get the idea. :) Happy Crafting.

Lady Bug Card

It's been a while, but I'm back and hopefully, I can start posting more often.  Here is a card I finished a few days ago. I used Paisley for the lady bug and the other images are from SCAL.
